Ingredients
  

  • 10 peas snap peas

  • 10 ml soy souce
  • 5 g sugar
  • 30 g white sesame seeds

【Preparation of Ingredients】

  • Snap peas should have their strings removed. There are two strings, one on each side, so peeling both from the tips will allow for easy removal.
  • Add 5g of salt to 1 liter of boiling water and cook the snap peas for 1 minute.

  • Drain the snap peas in a colander and let them cool for a while. Do not soak them in water, as it will make them watery.

  • Grind the sesame seeds in a mortar and pestle until about half of the seeds are crushed.

【Cooking】

  • Place the cooled snap peas in a bowl.

  • Add "A" to the bowl and mix well. It's ready to serve.

Notes

  • Freshly ground white sesame seeds have the best aroma, but you can also use pre-ground sesame seeds.
  • Mix just before serving for the best taste, as it becomes watery if it sits for too long.
