【Preparation of Ingredients】
Snap peas should have their strings removed. There are two strings, one on each side, so peeling both from the tips will allow for easy removal.
Add 5g of salt to 1 liter of boiling water and cook the snap peas for 1 minute.
Drain the snap peas in a colander and let them cool for a while. Do not soak them in water, as it will make them watery.
Grind the sesame seeds in a mortar and pestle until about half of the seeds are crushed.
【Cooking】
Place the cooled snap peas in a bowl.
Add "A" to the bowl and mix well. It's ready to serve.
Notes
Freshly ground white sesame seeds have the best aroma, but you can also use pre-ground sesame seeds.
Mix just before serving for the best taste, as it becomes watery if it sits for too long.
